Under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 (SI 2005/1541), every commercial premises must have a Fire Risk Assessment.
From 1 October 2023, new rules under the Building Safety Act 2022 (Section 156) made it a legal requirement that all Fire Risk Assessments are written down and properly recorded β no matter the size of your business.
